Burna Dale Levi

Newport, RI ? Capt. Burna Dale Levi, USN, Ret., 83, of 48 Catherine Street, Newport, RI, died Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Newport Hospital. He was the husband of Nancy Anne Mullens Levi. A native of Tampa, FL, he was the son of the late Burna Dale and Mary Levi.Captain Levi served in the United States Navy for over 30 years. He was an aircraft carrier pilot, and commanded fighter squadrons deployed in Viet Nam before his last assignment at the Naval War College in Newport. Upon retirement, he worked for General Dynamics as the Chief of Engineering at their Quonset Point facility. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son Paul S. Levi of San Antonio, TX, two daughters Patricia A. Fulco of Pelham Manor, NY and Susan D. McDaniel of Healdsburg, CA, his son in law John Fulco. He also leaves four grandchildren and two nephews Robert Addison of Newport, RI and Dale Addison of Tampa, FL. His funeral service will be private. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
