Carol Ann Fessenden

Portsmouth, RI - Carol Ann Amaral Fessenden, 62, of 249 West Main Road, Portsmouth, passed away quietly at her home with her family on Sunday, August 28, 2005 after a brief illness.She was the wife of Steven Fessenden.Born in Fall River, Massachusetts, on September 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late James and Lucille Vieira Amaral.Mrs. Fessenden was assistant manager at Walmart for the past six years and was a lifelong Portsmouth resident.Besides her husband she is survived by her children Richard Lee Gill of Sulphur, LA, Christine L. Gill of Portsmouth, RI, and Victoria A. Kenna of Warren, RI, her brother Richard Amaral of Portsmouth, RI, and her grandchildren Nicole Micucci of Portsmouth, RI, Heather Gill and Amber Gill both of Sulphur, LA, Audrey Kenna and Mitchell Kenna both of Warren, RI.She was the sister of the late Celeste Kensmoe.A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2005, at 11:00AM in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Rte. 114, Portsmouth, RI.Burial will take place in Portsmouth Cemetery, Turnpike Avenue, Portsmouth.In lieu of flowers, donations in Carols name may be made to the Visiting Nurse Services of Newport Bristol Counties, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
