Carol Ann Rodrigues

Middletown, RI - Carol A. Rodrigues, 69, of 670 Jepson Lane, Middletown, RI, died Thursday, November 22, 2007 at her home among family and friends after a long 10 year battle with Multiple Sclerosis.She was the wife of the late George J. Rodrigues. Born in Newport, RI on June 17, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Frank M. and Mary L. Sheehan Conroy.Carol worked at the Mile Post Restaurant, New England Telephone Company, and Egans Laundry. She is survived by a daughter Nancy Cleasby and her husband Robert of Middletown, and a son Michael Jones of Newport, her sister Leonore ?Nonie? Martland and her husband James of Newport, and a brother Francis Conroy and his wife Josephine of Tiverton. Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 27, at 8:00 am from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held Monday, November 26 from 4-8 in the Memorial Funeral Home.
