Carol Beverley Gomes

Newport, RI - Carol Beverly Gomes, 69, of 87 Girard Avenue, Newport, RI, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. She was the former wife of the late David N. Gomes, Sr. Born in Niagra Falls, NY on March 16, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Veronica Drawbridge Rader. Mrs. Gomes was a certified nursing assistant for 20 years, at St. Josephs Hospital and Fatima Hospital. She is survived by her sons David N. Gomes, Jr. of Exeter, RI, and Michael S. Gomes of Texas, her daughters Linda M. Levenseller of Middletown, RI and Janet Lee Kulakowski of Richfield, WI, her sister Janet Lee Neri-Kafel of Sanborn, NY, her grandchildren Crystal Levenseller of Newport, RI, Rebecca Levenseller of Middletown, RI, Christopher Levenseller of Middletown, RI, Robert Kulakowski of Richfield, WI and Catherine Kulakowski of Galvastine, TX, and her great grandchild Jada Etchison and James Etchison both of Middletown, RI Her funeral will be private.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2006, from 4-8pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Donations in her memory may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard, Suite 1010, Rockville, MD 20852.
