Carol Jane Flohr

Newport, RI - Carol Jane (Cornell) Roberts Flohr, 78, of Newport, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at John Clarke Health Care Center Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Ray B. Roberts and William J. Flohr. Born in Hornell, NY on April 28, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Fred Allen and Marion P. (Waldorf) Cornell. Mrs. Flohr graduated from Alfred State University in 1946. She worked as a Sales Associate/secretary for Ball Claw of Newport for 5 years. Mrs. Flohr enjoyed Jewelry and antiques in her store in Hornell, NY for several years and had worked in the antiques field in stores on Franklin Street in Newport. She is survived by her son Christopher Roberts and his wife Marian of Newport and her granddaughters Deanna Elizabeth Roberts of Newport, RI and Danielle Membrino of Boston, MA.She was the sister of the late Mary Lois Baker.Services will be private.Donations in her memory may be made to Angiosarcoma Awareness, PO Box 17421, Ft.
