Carol M. Antone Greer

Stockton, CA - Carol M. Lopes Antone Greer, 68, of 2809 Sunflower Circle, Stockton, CA, died Sunday, June 15, 2008 at St. Josephs Hospital, Stockton, CA. She was married to Albert Antone and Bernard Greer. Born in Newport, RI on February 16, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Howard A. and Ida F. Sutton Lopes.Mrs. Greer was employed at the Newport Hospital as an LPN. While living in Oakland, California she was employed as an LPN at St. Agnes Hospital. After moving to San Diego, California she owned and operated Greer Day Care Center for many years. She is survived by her sons Albert John Antone of Stockton, CA and Edward Antone of Portsmouth, RI, her sisters Yvonne F. Lopes of Newport, RI, Marlene H. Lopes Ray of Portsmouth, RI, and Lillian H. Stewart of Newport, RI, her brother Alfred S. Jackson of Newport, RI, a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Florence M. Gray and Howard W. Jackson Carol left a host of beloved friends and family in Newport and California.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008, at 10:00am, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held the morning of her service from 9-10am.Donations in her memory may be made to St. Josephs Church, Broadway and Mann Avenue, Newport, RI 02840.
