Carol Teague

Carol Teague, 78, of Prudence Island, RI, formerly of Saugus, MA, passed away on December 7, 2024, in the Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of Donald A. Teague for 58 years.

Born in Malden, MA, she was the daughter of the late Warren J. Mosher Sr. and Jessie (Phillips) Mosher.

Carol was a worthy advisor of Rainbow. She held her faith close to her as a dedicated Stephen minister, providing one-on-one Christian care to people going through difficult times. She served faithfully as a Sunday school teacher and youth fellowship leader. She was an active member of the Gulf Cove United Methodist Church in Port Charlotte, Florida, until her move to Rhode Island, where she continued her unwavering commitment to her faith as an active member of Union Church of Prudence Island. Her passion for service extended beyond the church walls; she found great joy in singing with the choir and often knitted and crocheted beautiful gifts for her loved ones, sharing her warm spirit with all.

Carol's kindness, wisdom, and steadfast faith were a guiding light to many. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Carol is survived by her husband Donald, her daughters; Susan Barrett, of Bristol, RI, Karen and Geoff Gorewitz, of Port Charlotte, FL, her grandchildren; Dale Cushman of Bristol, RI, Jessie Barrett and Angel Gorewitz, both of Port Charlotte, FL, her brother; Warren "Jim" and Linda Mosher, of Prudence Island, RI, her sister; Pamela and Jack Lynch, of Prudence Island, RI, and lifelong friends; Maureen Kelly and Gail Scanlon.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her sister, Linda Bossio.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date on Prudence Island.
