Carol Z. Vouras

Newport, - Carol Z. Vouras, 54, of 84 Division Street Newport, died Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI.Born in Newport, RI on January 19, 1948, she was the daughter of Eleni Vaka Vouras and the late Zacharias Vouras. Ms. Vouras was a 1966 graduate of Rogers High School and a 1970 Graduate of the University of Rhode Island. For a short time she was a preschool teacher. She went to work at the Newport Preservation Society as a Guide then as a bookeeper for a total of 25 years. Ms. Vouras was a member of St. Spyridon?s Greek Church. Besides her mother she is survived by her brother Andrew Z. Vouras of Middletown, RI, and her sister Angela Vouras of Newport, RI. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2002, at 11:00AM, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a service at 12:00PM, in St. Spyridons Greek Orthodox Church, 390 Thames Street, Newport.
