Caroline W. Williamson

Jamestown, RI - Caroline Westbrook Williamson, 86, of Green Lane, died peacefully at her son's home on Friday, July 27, 2012. She was the loving wife of the late PAUL w. Williamson, CDR, USN Retired, for sixty-one years.Born in Utica, NY, she was the daughter of the late Roland Severyne and Marion (Austin) Westbrook. She was also the sister of the late Ellen Westbrook Schott.Mrs. Williamson was a homemaker, an avid gardener, and a community volunteer. She volunteered at St. Matthew's Thrift Shop and was a member of St. Matthew's Altar Guild.She is survived by her daughters, Marianne W. Deer of San Marcos, CA, Catherine L. Lemieux of Narragansett, RI and Victoria W. Denny of Brighton, CO; her son, John S. Williamson of Jamestown, RI; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.She was also the mother of the late Barbara Procario of Bumpass, VA.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 10 am in St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, 87 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jamestown Emergency Medical Services, 11 Knowles Court, Jamestown, RI 02835.
