Casper C. Gray, Sr., 74, of Newport died Monday, December 3, 2012 at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center of Providence, RI. Born November 2, 1938 in Newport, RI, he was the son of the late John and Lois (Minkler) Gray. Mr. Gray worked for the City of Newport at the recreation department for 24 years, retiring in 2003. He is survived by his children, Mary Jane Gray of South Kingstown, RI, Casper Gray of Fall River, MA, Lois Gray of Newport, RI and Brian K. Gray of Newport, RI, his brother Jack Gray of South Kingstown, RI, his grandchildren, Dylan Gray, Nicole Gray, Judy Gray, Christian Gaskiel and David Truver and his great grandchildren, Linesha Marie Pearl Gray and Josh Shensler, Jr.He was the brother of the late Robert Gray. Calling hours will be held on, Monday, December 10, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Newport Memorial Park, Vaucluse Ave, Middletown, RI.
