Catherine Rhoda Zurybida

Middletown, RI - Catherine Rhoda: Cox Zurybida, 85, of Middletown, RI, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Miriam Hospital, Providence, RI.She was the wife of the late Vladymir Zurybida. Born in Jamestown, RI on July 25, 1923, one of fifteen children, she was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Catherine ONeil Cox.Mrs. Zurybida was a communicant of St. Lucys Church. She was a former member of the Elks and the DAV Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Frederick Marks, Robert Marks, Terrance Marks, Susan Boyson, James Marks, Cyndy Marks, Barry Zurybida, Robin Zurybida and Carol Garagliano, her sisters Anne Gadoury and Joan Loughran and thirty grandchildren. Her funeral will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009, at 9:00 am with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.Burial will be private.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009, from 4-8 in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
