Cathy Ann Alvernaz

Middletown, RI - Cathy Ann Woolhouse Alvernaz, 56, of 9 Rosedale Court, Middletown, RI, died Saturday, May 12, 2007 at home. She was the loving wife of Edward J. Alvernaz for 36 years. She was born in Newport, RI on December 18, 1950, to Charles E. and Audrey Stein Woolhouse who now reside in Ft. Myers, FL.Mrs. Alvernaz was a loving and devoted mother to three children. Jennifer L. Alvernaz of Newport, Stephen F. Alvernaz and his wife Angella of Piscataway, NJ and Charles E. Alvernaz of Middletown. She also leaves a sister, Christina Shephard of San Diego, CA.Mrs. Alvernaz loved being with her family and was extremely proud of all of her children. She enjoyed scrap booking and being with her co-workers at Wal-Mart. She devoted her life to her family and friends.Mrs. Alvernaz will always be loved and remembered dearly. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at 11:30am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
