Cecelia Greene

East Providence, RI - Cecelia Greene, 61, of Eastgate Nursing Center, East Providence, RI, formerly of Newport, RI, died Friday, October 20, 2006 at the Center. Born in Newport, RI on November 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Lucille Tinsley Greene. She is survived by her siblings Betty Lou Caldwell of Newport, RI, Jean Hollis of Groton, CT, Mary Louise Nicholson of Mississippi, Thelma Green of Newport, RI, Debora Greene of Newport, RI, Dorothy Birch of Charleston, SC and Arthur Greene of Providence, RI. She as many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Thomas Glenn Greene and Bernice Greene Snow. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at 11:00 am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport. Burial will be in Friends Cemetery in Newport.Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning 9:30-11:00a.m. in the funeral home.
