Charles Edward Gaetano

Middletown, - Charles Edward Gaetano, 64, of 845 Forest Avenue Middletown, died Friday, November 15, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in City of Rome, NY on January 11, 1938, he was the son of the late Blanche Jaycox Gaetano and William Gaetano of Whiteboro, NY.Mr. Gaetano had been around the world twice while he was in the United States Navy, he served in the Navy for a total 21 years. He was a fisherman and worked at Dons Marine in Tiverton, RI. Besides his father he is survived by his companion Georgina Galer of Middletown, RI, and her granddaughter Kelly Germain of Tiverton, RI.Services will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2002, beginning at 7:00PM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
