Charles Reeve

Bristol, RI - Charles Pudge Reeve, 67, of 47 First Street, Bristol, RI, formerly of Newport, RI, died Friday, May 2, 2008 at home. He was the husband of Diane Theresa Weaver Reeve. Born in Aurora, ILL on September 27, 1940, he was the son of the late Alice Richardson Reeve.Mr. Reeve had served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Era, retiring after 20 years, in 1975, as a Chief. Mr. Reeve enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family.Besides his wife of 46 years, he is survived by a son Shaun Reeve of Bristol, RI, two daughters Mary Reeve and her husband Michael Hebert of Wakefield, RI, and Kelly Reeve and her fiance Wilson Furtado of Bristol, RI, a brother William Reeve and his wife Gwen of Bristol, RI, two sisters Beatrice Pasquirella and her husband Michael of Spring Valley, CA, and Jane Gray and her husband Robert of Elizabeth City, NC, a brother in law Andrew McCarthy of Newport, RI, and four grandchildren Hayley and Caleb Hebert and Avery and Lyla Furtado. He was also the brother of the late Elizabeth McCarthy, Barbara Dennis, Maxine McDaniel, Ellen Miller, and Anne Ryerson.Funeral services and burial will be private.
