Charlotte Frances Williams

Newport, RI - Charlotte Frances Booker Williams, 92, of 58 Gould Street Newport, died Saturday, October 9, 2004 at home.She was the wife of the late John H. ?Jack? Williams. Born in Newport, RI on July 10, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen E. Thompson Booker. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Community Baptist Church serving there as an usher and singing in their choir as well as a member of the churches Dunbar Club. She also belonged to many Senior Citizens Groups. She is survived by her son John E. Williams of Marlborough, MA, two daughters Lily M. Carter of New Bedford, MA, and Joan E. Ricketts of Waltham, MA, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lily M. Kelley. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 15, 2004, at 11:00 AM in Community Baptist Church, 50 Dr. Marcus Wheatland Boulevard, Newport. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
