Warren, RI ? Charlotte Gagon Morrel, 76, of 74 King Street, Warren, RI, formerly of 29 Linda Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, died Monday, May 8, 2006, at St. Annes Hospital, in Fall River, MA. She was the wife of the late Clifton Morrel. Born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 3, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Ren and Florence Stradling Gagon.Mrs. Morrel was active in the Democratic League of Women. She enjoyed sewing for her family. She is survived by her sons Clifton Morrel Jr. of Fall River, MA , and Master Sgt. Ren Morrel, USA, of Portsmouth, RI, her daughters Priscilla Morrel of Warren, RI, Shan Haynes of Alexis, NC, and Winona Crow of Newport, RI, her grandchildren Violet Rose Morrel of Fall River, MA, Christopher W. DeMello of Warren, RI, Jacqueline Louise Haynes of Alexis, NC, Brittany Elizabeth Haynes of Alexis, NC, Cara M. Bartonbach of Newport, RI, Cheyene Ray Crow of Newport, RI, Christa Morrel of Newport, RI, Eric M. Bartonbach of Newport, RI, Ian F. Bartonbach, PFC, USA of Newport, RI, her great grandchild Corinn Farias of Newport, RI, and her sisters Alice Amaral of Westport, MA, and Claire Frick of Charlotte, NC. She was the sister of the late Germaine Stone. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2006, at 11:00a.m. in Newport Memorial Park, Howland Avenue, Middletown.
