Cheryl Denise Ney

Cheryl Denise Ney, 72, of Portsmouth, RI passed away on October 12, 2012 with her children at her side, and joined her husband, Roger D. Ney.She was born on July 1, 1940 and was the daughter of the late George and Claire (Sullivan) Chamberlin.Mrs. Ney worked for 35 years as a bookkeeper and devoted much of her time and energy to her children and grandchildren. Her interests included reading, video games, shopping and cake decorating.Mrs. Ney is survived by two sisters, three brothers, as well as her daughters, Cheryl Augustine, Robin Pacheco, Leslie Paquette, Lisa Peterson, and her son John Ney. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchildren, and her long time friend Mary Hagen.Calling hours will be held on Sunday October 14, 2012 from 6-8pm in the Connors Funeral Home 55 W. Main Rd.
