Chester E. "Chet" Straka III, 71, of Connection Street, Newport, RI, passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Newport Hospital.He was the husband of Patricia A. (Gaglio) Straka.Born in Newport, RI on August 19, 1944, he was the son of the late Chester E. Straka, Jr. and Agnes Alice (DeMello) Straka.Mr. Straka was employed as a plumber with Donovan Sons in Middletown before retiring.In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Russell Straka of Newport, RI and Thomas Straka of San Diego, CA; his step-daughter, Audrey Gaglio of Bristol, RI; four grandchildren, Benjamin Straka, Christopher Straka, Katherine Straka and Aidan Pansa; and his sister and brothers, Mary Rosa of Newport, RI, Richard Straka of Newport, RI and Anthony Straka of Brockton, MA.
