Christine C. Hayward

Middletown, RI - Christine C. McCall Hayward, 92, of Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, died Sunday, June 20, 2004 at the center.She was the wife of the late Reginald Hayward. Born in Providence, RI on December 7, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Quinn McCall.Mrs. Hayward had worked as a salesperson for many years for Harris Fabrics in Warwick, RI. She had been a volunteer at the Newport Hospital, where she had delivered flowers. She is survived by her daughter Joy Benson of Middletown, RI, her granddaughter Kristin Pierini of Middletown, RI, and two grandsons Peter Benson of Lyndeboro, NH, and Carl Benson of Westport, MA. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Grand Islander Activities Fund, 333 Green End Avenue, Middletown, RI 02842.
