Salcha, Alaska ? Christine Baird Tuttle, 44, of 7005 Coldfoot Court, Salcha, Alaska, formerly of Auburn, MA, died Saturday, July 30, 2005, in Alaska.She was the wife of Fred Tuttle. Born in Laconia, NH, on June 21, 1961, she was the daughter of Walter Baird of Willows, CA, and the late Sandra Almy Almeida.Christine had worked as a truck driver for Shaws Market. While living in Idaho, she worked as a farmhand at a dairy farm. She had also worked at the Harvard Laboratory as a Vetrinary Assistant for several years. Christine had also been a volunteer with Meals on Wheels. Besides her father she is survived by her step father Edward Almeida Jr., of Auburn, MA, a step son Walter Tuttle of Manly, Alaska, two step daughters Megan Tuttle and Michelle Tuttle both of Manly, Alaska, a half brother Edward Almeida III of Auburn, MA, two step brothers Matthew Almeida of Auburn, MA, and Robert Almeida of Tiverton, RI, two sisters Laura Essa of Rochester, NY, and Mary Whitmyer of Oklahoma, and a step sister Karen Almeida of Switzerland. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2005, at 1:00PM, in Portsmouth Cemetery, Turnpike Avenue, Portsmouth.
