Christopher Charles Pierce Portsmouth, RI - Christopher Charles Pierce, 52, of Portsmouth, RI, died Sunday, December 24, 2006 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Fall River, MA, on April 5, 1954, he was the son of Shirley Leach Pierce of Middletown, and the late Charles F. Pierce.Mr. Pierce had worked as a cab driver for 10 years at Cozy Cab and Rainbow Cab. Mr. Pierce was also a motorcycle enthusiast. Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter Nicole Mollmann of Newport, RI, two brothers Michael J. Pierce of Tenino, WA, and Peter E. Pierce of Portsmouth, RI, two sisters Marcia J. Stone of Portsmouth, RI, and Priscilla E. Jolie of Portsmouth, RI, a grandson Nicholas Mollmann of Newport, RI, three nieces and five nephews, and one great niece and one great nephew.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be private.Calling hours are omitted.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Portsmouth Volunteer Fire Department Rescue Wagon Fund, P.O.
