Christopher James Adams, 27, of Portsmouth passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 3, 2016, at Morton Hospital in Taunton, MA.Born on November 28, 1988, in Newport, RI, he was the son of Dawn (Adams) Williamson of Portsmouth, RI, and Christopher Bates. Besides his parents, he is survived by his son Christopher James Adams of Taunton, MA, his sister Katelynn Weaver of Portsmouth, RI, his step-father Stephen Williamson of Portsmouth, RI, his companion Megan Santos of Taunton, MA, several aunts, uncles, cousins and his nephew, Cameron, of Portsmouth.Chris was a Portsmouth High School graduate, class of 2007, who played football and ran track during his athletic career. In his spare time, he loved hiking and fishing, but his most precious memories were spending time with his son, Christopher.He was the grandson of the late Freddie Adams, and the nephew of the late Larry Adams and Bonnie Dugan.Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016, from 4:00-6:00pm, in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.
