Cynthia ?Cindy? A. Yergeau Donnelly, 42, of 5 Warcam Way, Portsmouth, died Saturday, February 5, 2005, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.Married in 1991, she was the wife of Paul Donnelly. Born in Newport, RI, on May 21, 1962, she was the daughter of Ovide ?Joe? Yergeau of Portsmouth, RI, and Claudette Cardinal Nunes of Middletown, RI.Cindy was the co-owner and pastry chef of Cappuccinos Bakery and Caf of Middletown, RI. Beginning at the age of 16, she was a singer and pianist at various restaurants and bars in Newport, including Crickets, The Pier, Oceancliff, and The Landing. She and her husband have operated Cappuccinos Bakery and Cafe for the last 13 years, first in Newport and now in Middletown. Cindy has been a Reiki practitioner for the last 5 years. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed time on the beach. She grew up in Middletown and was a Graduate of Middletown High School, Class of 1980. During the last 5 years, Cindy began a cancer fundraising effort called ?Chasing Rainbows? to help families with alternative cancer treatments. Above all her accomplishments, Cindy was a loving mother and wife to her children and husband. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter Dustyn Donnelly and son Nicholas Donnelly both of Portsmouth, RI, her sister Michelle Braga of Boothbay Harbor, ME and step mother Sally Yergeau of Portsmouth, RI.Her funeral will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2005, at 9:00AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will follow in St. Columba Cemetery, Middletown.
