Clara C. Fagan Portsmouth, - Clara C. Fagan, 80, of 22 Maple Drive, Portsmouth, died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at Forest Farm Health Care Center.She was the wife of the late John F. Fagan Jr. Born in Palatka, FLA on Feb. 5, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus Penner and Katherine Gardner Cannon. Mrs. Fagan had been employed by the State of Florida where she worked as a Toll Booth Collector for over 25 years. After working in Florida Mrs Fagan moved back to Rhode Island 1998 and had worked at the former Artcraft Manufacturing Co. of Fall River before moving to Florida in 1968. Mrs. Fagan was a member of Saint Anthonys Church, Portsmouth; Jolly Mothers Club of Fall River, MA., and enjoyed Duck Pin Bowling and had been in several leagues. She is survived by her son Thomas A. Fagan of Portsmouth, RI, one brother Curtis James Cannon of Palatka, FL, her Granddaughter Lisa Fagan of Portsmouth, RI, one Grandson Thomas Fagan of Portsmouth, RI, one great granddaughter Kayla Marie Fagan of Portsmouth, RI, and two great grandsons Tyler Fagan and Jacob Fagan of Portsmouth, RI. She was also the sister of the late Reddick Constantine Cannon, Cyrus Penner Cannon, and Andrew Jackson Cannon.Her funeral will be held Friday, July 2, at 09:00 AM from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 MA in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
