Clarence Lee Brown

FALL RIVER, MA - Clarence Brown, 92, of 111 Warren Street, Fall River, MA formerly of 2 Maple Terrace, Middletown, RI, died Monday, November 14, 2005 at St. Annes Hospital, Fall River, MA. He was the husband of the late Helen Marie Frazier Brown. Born in Filmore, California on June 14, 1913, he was the son of the late Allen Sherman Brown and Mary Wallen Brown.Mr. Brown was a Chief in the United States Navy during WWII. He retired from the military after serving 29 years. After the military Mr. Brown worked for Manuel Brothers Moving Company, he then worked as a custodian at the Middletown High School. He is survived by his children Alan L. Brown of Fall River, MA, Richard Brown of Goshen, CA, Patricia Brown Caraway of Middletown, RI, and Linda Brown Karner of Pisgah Forest, NC, and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his brother Albert Brown and his twin sister Clara Coates.His funeral will be held on Thursday November 17, 2005, at 10:00AM in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005 from 6-8PM in Memorial Funeral Home.
