Newport, RI - Cleveland Fred Stedford, Sr., 38, of 50 Washington Square, Newport, RI, formerly of 20D Rolling Green, Newport, died Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Catherine H. Arsenault Stedford. Born in Newport, RI on August 7, 1968, he was the son of Oscar Cleveland and Beverly Monteiro Stedford of Newport.Mr. Stedford worked for the past five years as a cook at the Mudville Pub. He loved spending time with his children, and his sense of humor always brought everyone together. He was an avid bike rider and skate boarder. Besides his wife and parents he is survived by his twin sons Cleveland Fred Stedford, Jr. and David Steven Stedford and his daughter Alyssa Arsenault all of Fall River, MA, his brothers Christopher A. Stedford, Raymond L. Stedford and Oscar J. Stedford all of Newport, RI, his sisters Dorothy J. Stedford and Beverly M. Stedford both of Newport, RI, many nieces and nephews, one great niece, and many more extended family members.
