Middletown, - Concetta ?Jackie? Madeline Punch, 81, of 32 Vanicek Avenue Middletown, formerly of 78 Phelps Road, Middletown, died Sunday, January 26, 2003 at Heatherwood Nursing and Subacute Center Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Frank L. Paranzino and George M. Punch. Born in Providence, RI on February 22, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Mariana Pompa Giarrusso.Mrs. Punch was a Communicant of St. Lucys Church. She had worked as a waitress at the former Markey, Anns Kitchen, and Johnnies Seafood. She is survived by two sons Francis L. Paranzino Jr. of Middletown, RI, and Donald F. Sionne of El Dorado Hills, CA, two brothers Joseph Giarrusso of CA, and Orlando Gairrusso of Providence, RI, his sister Janette Lousignan of Providence, RI, seven grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.She was the sister of the late James Giarrusso, Anthony Giarrusso, Carlo Giarrusso, Armando Giarrusso and Rose DeSimone. Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 31, 2003, at 8:00 am, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 am, in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.
