Middletown, RI - Cynthia Lorraine McGaughey, 59, of 114 Rogers Lane, Middletown, RI, died Friday, January 23, 2009 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Lynn, MA on August 11, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Earl Burns and Jeanne Kelley.Ms. McGaughey enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She is survived by her son Scott John McGaughey of Maine, her daughters Nicole Jeanne McGaughey and Jacquelyn Marie McGaughey both of Middletown, RI, her brothers David Burns of North Kingstown, RI and James Burns of Narragansett, RI, her sister Carol Dersenski of Narragansett, RI, her grandson Zachary Nicolas Harden of Middletown, RI and her fianc Ruben F. Erausquin of Newport, RI.She was the sister of the late Bud Burns. Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 30, 2008, from 10-12 in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
