Cynthia M. Worcester

Cynthia M. Metzger Worcester, 90, of Bristol and Prudence Island, RI, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Atria Aquidneck Place, in Portsmouth, RI.She was the wife of the late J. Alden Worcester.Mrs. Worcester was a member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church in Bristol. She was an avid reader and sports fan, partically of the Boston Red Sox, and she especially enjoyed her summers on Prudence Island.She is survived by her four children, Charles W. Worcester and his wife, Barbara, Judith Little and John A. Worcester and his fiance, Denise Aveni and Carolyn Collins and her husband Colin; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Ruth Lennon and Helen Newcomb.Her funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2010 at 2:30 pm in St. Michaels Episcopal Church, 399 Hope Street, Bristol, RI.
