Cynthia Mary Small

Bristol, RI - Cynthia Mary Gay Small, 58, born in Waterbury, CT and eight year resident of Bristol, RI, died at home, in the arms of her husband and surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Jonathan A. Small for 28 years and a loving mother of Christopher Adam Small, his fiance Joanna Almeida, and their daughter Aubrey Gianna Small also from Bristol. She is survived by her sister Sheila and husband Eddy Kaytis of Tolland, CT and Pamela Gay of So. Windham, CT, her sister Kathleen and husband, Steven Coyner from Albuquerque, NM, her sister Rose and husband Neil Kielski from Suffield, CT and her brother Joseph Dubicki from West Suffield, CT and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Diane Sczepanik and her mother, Jennie Dubicki of Connecticut. She was an employee of East Side Medical laboratory and a former employee of Grove Hill Medical Center in New Britain, CT. She was a wonderful mother and nonnie to her family. Friends and family are welcome to celebrate her life at a memorial service on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at 5:30pm in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI. Family will continue to receive friends and relatives immediately following the service. She will be interred in Center Cemetery in Burlington, CT at the convenience of her family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care of RI at 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860. We will forever miss her.
