Daniel Long Whitmarsh

Fall River, MA - Daniel Long Whitmarsh, 36, of 167 Hunter Street, Fall River, MA, died Saturday, November 22, 2003 at home. He was the fianc of Lisa Pinsonnault of Fall River, MA. Born in Hartford, CT, on October 26, 1967, he was the son of Rachel Long Whitmarsh of Portsmouth, RI and the late Robert O. Whitmarsh. Mr. Whitmarsh had worked as a laborer for the Century Construction Company of Lincoln, RI. He had served in the United States Air Force as a Sargeant and had been stationed in Florida and Alaska. He was a graduate of Portsmouth High School, Class of 1985. Mr. Whitmarsh was a member of the Rhode Island Laborers Union #673 of Newport, a member of the Newport County Dart League, and the East Bay Dart League. He enjoyed salt water fishing and was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. Besides his fianc and mother he is survived by two sons Jared R. Whitmarsh of Newport, RI, and Ian A. Whitmarsh of Fall River, MA, two brothers David Whitmarsh of Portsmouth, RI, and Donald Whitmarsh of Portsmouth, RI, and one niece of Portsmouth, RI. His funeral will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2003, at 9:00AM, from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM, in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Newport Memorial Park in Middletown.
