Daniel W. Keller

Portsmouth, RI - Daniel W. Keller, 84, of Aquidneck Place, Portsmouth, RI, formerly of 146 Watson Drive, Portsmouth, died Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at home. He was the husband of the late Gloria Ianscoli Keller. Born in Maryville, TN on September 1, 1922, he was the son of the late Roy R. and Pearl Keller.Mr. Keller served in the United States Army during World War II with the 1st Tank Battalion in the 1st Armored Division. Daniel was a recipient of the Purple Heart. Mr. Keller was employed with Gulf Oil Company for many years. He is survived by his son Herbert Keller of Philadelphia, PA, his brother Ollie Keller of Georgia, his sisters Jeanette Grindstead and Helen Rogers both of Tennessee, his grandson Daniel Keller, III of Maryland and several nieces and nephews.He was the father of the late Kenneth Keller and Daniel Keller and the brother of the late Ershel Keller and Imogene Wheeler.
