Danis O. Gerbeville

Danis O. O?Neil Gerbeville, 69, of 2 School Street Newport, died Friday, May 24, 2002 at South Shore Hospital, South Weymouth, MA. Wife of the late William B. Gerbeville Sr., and the former wife of James Wilson.Born in Boston, MA on December 13, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Neva Smith ONeil. Mrs. Gerbeville was a third grade teacher at the Dennett Elementary School in Plympton, MA until her retirement in 1998. When she moved to Newport, she became a substitute teacher at Cranston Calvert in Newport. Mrs. Gerbeville attended LaSalle Junior College in Newton, MA and Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of the Newport Yacht Club. She is survived by three sons William B. Gerbeville Jr. of Hanover, MA, Brian D. Gerbeville of Scituate, MA, Peter W. Gerbeville of Newport, RI, her daughter Rebecca G. Shea of Kinston, MA, and her grandson Jimi Gerbeville. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2002, at 11:00AM, in Emmanuel Church 42 Dearborn Street, Newport. Burial will be private.
