David P. Barker

David P. Barker, of Green End Avenue, Middletown, passed away Thursday, December 2, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Center in Providence. He was the husband of Heidi M. Reed Barker.Born in Newport on March 22, 1965, he was the son of Benjamin B. and Nancy M. Gualteri Barker of Middletown.David was educated in the Middletown School System. He loved working with his family at B.B. Barker Landscaping. He enjoyed camping with his family and shared with them his love of animals.Besides his wife and parents, he leaves his daughters Ashley M. Barker and April E. Barker both of Middletown. He also leaves his brother Benjamin B. Barker IV of Newport.Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 - 8 pm in the funeral home.Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 10:00am in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.
