Raleigh, NC - Dawn Marie Jenkins, 44, of 4141 Lake Lynn Drive, Raleigh, NC, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Brigham and Womens Hospital, Boston, MA. Born in Newport, RI on August 30, 1967, she was the daughter William C. and Mary Ballard Jenkins.Dawn worked as a child care provider until recently. She was an event planner, a collector and seller of antiques. She loved music, movies, going to yard sales and loved life. Besides her parents, she is survived by her brothers, Brent C. Jenkins of West Palm Beach, FL, Brett C. Jenkins of Portland, OR, and Brien C. Jenkins of Higganum, CT, her nephews and nieces, Kyle M. Jenkins, Connor W. Jenkins, Kendyl Jenkins, Karley Jenkins and Morgan Jenkins. Calling hours are omitted.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at 10:00 am in Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.
