Deborah Watterson

Deborah A. Watterson, 48, of 21 Keeher Avenue Newport, formerly of Smithfield, RI, died Sunday, July 28, 2002 at Newport Hospital Newport, RI. Born in Providence, RI on October 4, 1953, she was the daughter of Agnes M. Santos Brosseau of Smithfield, RI and the late Robert A. Brosseau. Deborah graduated from Providence College in 1975, she later earned her masters degree in Computer science from the University of Rhode Island. She worked for Anteon as a software engineer for 20 years. She was a charter member of the Providence College womens ice hockey team. Besides her mother, she is survived by her son Sean Watterson of Newport, RI and two sisters Kristine Ledsworth of Jamestown, RI and Kathryn Reall of Smithfield, RI and 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Her funeral will be held Thursday, August 1, 2002 at 9:00am from the Memorial Funeral Home 375 Broadway, Newport, RI followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am, in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway And Vernon Avenue, Newport.
