Travers, 86, of Tiverton, RI, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River, MA.He was the husband of Evelyn (Medeiros) Travers.Born in Portsmouth, RI, Mr. Travers worked as a Foreman at Pearson Yachts for over 22 years.Besides his wife, he leaves his children, Ronald Travers of Portsmouth, RI, Thomas Travers, Debra Souza and Gary Travers, all of Tiverton, RI; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 1-4 pm in Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
