Dennis P. Roies, Jr

Bristol, RI - Dennis P. Roies, Jr., 59, of 51 Collins Street, Bristol, RI, died on Sunday, July 29, 2007. Born in Fall River, MA on July 3, 1948, he was the son of the late Dennis P. and Doris Austin Roies.Dennis worked for Ace Woodworking, Woodys Woodworking, Albine Marine, New England Boatwork?s, Freedom Yachts, Newport County Building and Restoration, Nolans Construction and as a foreman for Ray Camara Construction. He was a member of the Tiverton Rod Gun Club, the National Rifle Association, the Wildlife Turkey Federation, the 1st Congregational Blackpowder Federation and the North American Hunting Club. Dennis loved to hunt, ride his harley, watching the Red Sox, camping, having little neck boils and loved being a master carpenter. Most of all Dennis loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his daughters Rejeanne Roies of Portsmouth, RI and Shawnis Faherty of Fall River, MA, his brother Kenneth Roies of Mississippi, his sister Laura ?Nina? Roies of Tiverton, RI, and his grandson Thomas J. Faherty of Fall River, MA Calling hours will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2007, from 9-1, in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI.
