Dennis Patrick Murphy

Providence, RI - Dennis Patrick Murphy, 66, of 280 Washington Street, Providence, RI, formerly of Newport, RI, died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center, Providence, RI. Born in New Haven, CT, on November 21, 1939, he was the son of the late Francis and Theresa Turmey Murphy. A long time resident of Newport, at both the Seaman?s Church Institute and the Henderson Home on Clarke Street. Mr. Murphy was always grateful for the help and support of the Newport Community. He enjoyed helping others whenever he was able to, by giving them what they needed if he could. His ashes will be scattered at the Lighthouse at Castle Hill in a private ceremony.
