Deronda J. Ford

Middletown, RI - Deronda J. Hart Ford, 74, of 417 Forest Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the loving wife of the late Calvin Poole Ford, Jr. She joined her husband on June 15th hours after the day they celebrated 58 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, MA on Jan. 13, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Abby Rose Hart. She is survived by her daughter Deborah A. Creeden and her husband Dan of Portsmouth, RI, her sister Judith Canuel of New Bedford, MA, her granddaughter Vanessa Borges of Goffstown, NH, her grandson Julius J. Borges IV of Newport, RICalling hours will be held Friday evening from 4-6 pm in the funeral home, followed by a service at 6pm.Burial will be private.
