Dolores Ann Fisher

Middletown, RI - Dolores Ann Dorato Fisher, 69, of 11 Village Lane, Middletown, RI, formerly of 6 Blackwell Place, Newport, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. Born in Newport, RI on October26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Philomena Mello Dorato.Mrs. Fisher was a registration clerk at the Newport Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 2005. She was a communicant of Jesus Saviour Church. Mrs. Fisher loved nothing more then spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Christopher P. Fisher of Adel, GA, Daniel P. Fisher of Pawtucket, RI, and David R. Fisher of Newport, RI, and her daughters Christianne M. Fisher and Stacey E. Fisher both of Portsmouth, RI, her brothers John J. Dorato, Jr. and B. Daniel Dorato both of Middletown, RI, her sisters Phyllis M. Platt of Portsmouth, RI, and Patricia A. Dorato of San Francisco, CA, and nine grandchildren.She was the sister of the late Eleanor Anctil. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2007, at 8:00 a.m., from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., in Jesus Saviour Church, Broadway and Vernon Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown at a later date.Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 20, 2007, from 4-8 p.m., in the funeral home.
