Dolores Veronica Nore

Dolores Veronica (Regan) Nore, 85, of Middletown, died Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at Newport Hospital.She was the wife of Oscar A. Nore.Born on December 18, 1929, in Cumberland, RI, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mabel (Brogan) Regan.Mrs. Nore attended high school in Central Falls, RI, before attending two years of college at Radcliffe in Boston. She was also a former member of the American Red Cross Motor Service. Dolores was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.Besides her husband of 47 years, she is survived by her children, Christine L. Konar of NC, Lisa Nore of RI, Brian A. Gailey of RI, and Robert D .Gailey of RI, her grandsons John B. Konar and Bryan D. Konar of NC, Robert D. Gailey Jr., and Stephen L. Gailey of RI, her great granddaughter Kylie Konar of NC, her brother Patrick J. Regan Jr. and her step brothers, Frank Trottier and Maurice Trottier.Her funeral was held on Monday, May 4, 2015, in St. Columba Chapel, Brown's Lane, Middletown, RI.Donations in her memory may be made to the NYPD Benevolent Association, c/o Widows and Children's Fund, 125 Broad Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY, 10004-2400.A Widows and Childrens Fund, Inc."
