MIDDLETOWN, RI - Donald L. Crow 77, of 83 Jo-Ann Avenue, Portsmouth, RI, died Tuesday, April 5, 2005at Grand Islander Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. He was the husband of Darlene Gillespie Crow. Born in Bayard, Nebraska on January 20, 1928, he was the son of the late Oner and Lottie Williamson Crow. Donald Crow served in the United States Navy for 24 years. Serving during World War Ii, Korea and Vietnam, he retired as a Senior Chief. After his Navy career, Mr. Crow worked for the State of Rhode Island for 20 years, retiring as Health Inspector. He also worked with Septic Systems as a tester, until his retirement in 1991. Besides his beloved wife of 48 years he is survived by his children Cheri Crow and her husband Mark Mulvanity of Reading MA, Terry L. Crow of Colorado Springs, CO, David L. Crow and Russell L. Crow and his wife Kathleen M. Williams of Portsmouth, RI, his sister Patricia Jordan of Goodland, KS, and his granddaughters Meredith and Ashely Mulvanity both of Reading, MA.He was the brother of the late Harold Crow and Irene Ripley.His funeral will be held on Monday, April 11, 2005, at 10:00AM, in Portsmouth United Methodist Church, 2732 East Main Road, Portsmouth.
