Doris M. Burke

Warren, RI - Doris M. Davis Burke, 88, of 20 Libby Lane, Warren, RI, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, RI. She was the wife of the late William Burke, Benny Reyes, and Frank B. Davis. Born in Little Compton, RI, on February 16, 1918, she was the daughter of the late George H. and Mary Young Brimmer.Mrs. Davis was very active in assisting her husband in his farming business in Portsmouth and Little Compton. She was active in the PTA, the Village Improvement Society and the United Congregational Church in Little Compton. She is survived by two sons Richard B. Davis and his wife Roberta of Brooklyn, NY, Kenneth Davis and his wife Diane of Bradenton, FL, a daughter June C. Rayno and her husband Eugene of Portsmouth, RI, and two grandchildren Cory and Kipp Davis of Brooklyn, NY. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006, at 11:00a.m., in the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth.Burial will be private.Calling hours are omitted.
