Doris M. Vettese

Doris M (Siravo) Vettese, 92 of Middletown, passed away peacefully on December, 31, 2015with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Cmdr. Joseph J. Vettese, USN Ret. Born in Johnston RI, she was the daughter of the late Paulina (Palumbo) and Michael Siravo.She is survived by her daughter Priscilla Weeden, her grand-daughter Jennifer and her husband Michael, her great granddaughter Zora Chloe, her brother William Siravo and his wife Lynn. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.The youngest of 7 children, she is the sister of the late Emilie Siravo, Mary Marinucci, Margaret Suzi, Martin Siravo and Anthony Siravo. Doris will be remembered with love for her optimistic approach to life, her warmth, friendship, humor, style and generosity.
