Doris Shaffer

RICHMOND, VA - Doris Barbour Shaffer, of 9133 K Derbyshire Road, Richmond, VA died Sunday, July 10, 2005, at Forest Farm Health Care Center, Middletown, RI. She was the wife of the late Theodore Shaffer Jr.Born in Gretna, VA on August 16, 1906, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Nancy Anderson Barbour.She is survived by her daughter Susan Wells and her husband Roger of Newport, RI, her grandchildren Kiley Wells of Boulder, CO, Louise W. Bedsworth of Oakland, CA, and Theodore Wells of Philadelphia, PA, and her great granddaughter Ellie Bedsworth of Oakland, CA.She was the sister of the late Daniel H. Barbour, Helen B. Roane, Lestelle B. Hamilton, Maude B. Colbert, Elizabeth B. Petty and Lillian B. Peaco.Her funeral service and burial will be private.
