Newport, - Dorothea G. Sullivan, of 37 Thurston Avenue, Newport, died Sunday, March 21, 2004, at the Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.Born in Newport, RI, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Anne Shine Sullivan. Ms. Sullivan had lived in Boston, MA, for several years. She was a Graduate of Rogers High School and the Boston Clerical School. She had worked for Sheffield and Harvey as a legal secretary. Ms. Sullivan was a member of the Business and Professional Womens Association. She was also a Communicant of St. Josephs Church in Newport. She is survived by one brother Robert C. Sullivan of Portsmouth, RI, one sister Ruth Abbruzzi of Newport, RI, and six nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William J. Sullivan, Leona Sullivan, and Marguerite Sullivan.Her funeral will be held Thursday, March 25, 2004, at 9:30 AM from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM in St. Josephs Church, Broadway And Mann Avenue, Newport. Burial will be in St. Columba Cemetery, Brown?s Lane, Middletown.
