Dorothy A. Piermont

Portsmouth, RI - Dorothy A. Piermont, 82, of Portsmouth, RI, died Friday, September 5, 2008 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. She was born in Newport, RI on January 21, 1926, she was the eldest child of the late Herbert and Martha Hall. She was a lifelong resident of Portsmouth. Dorothy worked for Newport public schools as a cook and also worked for the Short Line Bus Co. as a ticket agent. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, two grandsons, a brother, two sisters and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 1:00 PM, in Portsmouth United Methodist Church, 2732 East Main Road, Portsmouth.Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
