Dorothy Barbara Wendt

Middletown, RI - Dorothy Doris Charwinsky Wendt, 91, of 14 Massachusetts Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at John Clarke Health Care Center, Middletown. She was the wife of Russell Wendt. Born in Brooklyn, NY on Jan. 8, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John and Estelle Razutis Charwinsky.Mrs. Wendt was a member of the CPO Wives Club. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. Besides her husband she leaves her children Kenneth A. Wendt and Lorraine L. Papineau both of Middletown, she also leaves her sister Theresa Barone of Maryland and eight grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.She was the mother of the late Gerard C. Wendt and sister of the late Charles Charwinsky, Patricia Brown, Rita Ebert, Stella Patti and Margie Longo. A Memorial Service will be held on March 14, 2010 at 2 pm. In the funeral home.
